It aims to build smart vertical farms at the heart of demand in urban populations to minimise carbon footprint whilst maximising impact in local communities. Focusing on kale, spinach, lettuce, and rocket salad, this superfood green farm is one of the top producers of locally produced greens in Singapore.
In this behind-the-scenes vertical farm tour, understand the constraints faced by land-scarce Singapore in the agriculture sector and its vision and strategies for sustainability. See how Sustenir brings to life its signature salads such as Kinky Kale and Toscano Kale inside its farms. Learn about the challenges of growing greens using technology in an indoor space, and try your hand at harvesting and sampling the freshest salads off the stems, while learning about the future growth plan of the company.
Tour will run every Tuesday, 1430-1600hrs and Saturday, 1000-1130hrs.
