Jewish Heritage Tour

Learn about the Jewish community and meet the Rabbi of a Synagogue!

Our tour takes us through what used to be the Jewish neighbourhood known as “Mahalla”. We will see the Jewish educational establishments and prominent buildings, such as the David Elias Building. Visit also two synagogues – Chesed El and Maghen Avot. Meet the chief Rabbi and get a chance to see the ancient holy Torah scrolls.

This tour takes place every Monday, 0930-1230hrs.

Her academic background in geography and archeology combined with her active involvement in the culture and art scene in Singapore, add unique depth and flavor to her tours. Upon settling in Singapore seven years ago she became a qualified art docent at the Singapore Art Museum, Singapore Tyler Print Institute and the National Gallery Singapore . As a Singapore Tourist Bureau licensed tour guide she focuses on local heritage, arts and architecture, culture as well as customized tours. Sarah speaks English Hebrew and is proficient in Spanish.
